BON APPETIT!

Instead of wasting our time with the superbowl today (which I am proud to say I have never, ever watched in my life) Kor and I decided to try our hand at cooking one of our favorites- Curry! We found the recipe at www.beeskneesrecipes.wordpress.com (Thanks Corie) It was tasty, delicious. We cooked and ate in our pj's and had the mess all cleaned before we even ate! Go us!

What a great day!

My AddiBell is 7!

When I was 14 I met my dear friend Cindy. She had two adorable little boys who I babysat often. I'll never forget the day Cindy told me she was expecting again. I was at girls camp ( the only time I ever went ) and I was so excited. She didn't want to find out the gender but I KNEW it was a girl. I even bet her that if it was a girl I got to name her. We were obsessed with finding the perfect name. Cindy was wanting Madison but I felt it was way too common for a not so common little girl. I remember Cindy calling me and telling me to come to the hospital. At this point I still didn't know the gender. I remember seeing Addi for for the first time. She was so beautiful. She had thick, black hair and had the most olive skin. Addison Isabella. The most beautiful name. I sometimes wish I had saved it for my daughter. Ha ha. I became Addi's nanny at the young age of 7 days. We were inseparable. I didn't know any other 16 year old with a car seat in their car. I learned so much from being her nanny. I had so much fun. Addi always looked like a superstar. She spent a lot of time at my home, Addison was just another member of our family. Addison is amazing! She really is too smart for her own good. She has the best imagination. Heavenly Father knew Addi was special and He knew she needed to be the only girl and the youngest. SPOILED!

Happy Birthday Addison. I love you!

Mi Vida.

This last week has been jam-packed with fun! Kory and I saw Fantastic Mr. Fox. What a treat it was. We love dollar movies! Then I contributed to obesity with all-you-can-eat pancakes at ihop with Stephanie! Followed by shopping at D.I. where we ran into sweet Val and  baby Max!  We of course found a lot of amazing stuff we just had to have. Then we visited my nephew Cohen and watched hilarious home videos. Kory and I then hit up the mall, met up with Corie and Jeremy,  ate another large meal at TGIF and then went back to their place and played Super Mario Brothers on Wii until our thumbs were literally numb.
 It.was.awesome.

Sunday of course was great. I love church! Relaxed all day with Kor and the pups. Made breakfast quesadillas and pudding. Of course played more Wii. I think I win best Christmas present award, huh Kory :)

Monday consisted of more shopping and eating with Steph. We hit up Savers hard core. Now for the envy-my-life part of this entry... I get PAID to snowboard every Monday at Brighton with my delinquents. The program is called CHILL ( chill.org )  I feel like I had a three day weekend. Life is tasty sweet. Not many photos but enjoy the few I have.

Thank you Thompson's for a great time!
